Born at GBMC hospital in Baltimore, Aimée grew up in Towson, Maryland. She graduated from Dulaney High School and studied Fine Arts and Creative Writing at the College of Sante Fe in New Mexico, where she received the Academic Achievers Award. She returned to Maryland to finish her education closer to home, where she received a Bachelors of Science in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Towson University. She graduated in the spring of 2001. Upon graduation, Aimée developed print photography for Cooper's Camera Mart where her clients included several photographers from The Baltimore Sun.
In 2002, Aimée began teaching English at Randallstown High School in Baltimore, MD. She is a Highly Qualified teacher, and she received the Teacher's Association of Baltimore County teacher of the month award in April 2005.
While Aimée enjoys sharing her love of literature with the future writers of tomorrow, her first love has always been writing. From her early stories of princesses to her angst filled prose and poetry of high school, she has blossomed into a mature writer.
